Cheat:
Point of Contact Extinction map: As you destroy each barrier hive, the previous area's propane tanks vanish from the map. This cheat is to save some for the end run home and how to set up and trigger a Rhino Trap. This is most likely to succeed solo as there will be less chance of a stray bullet/sentry/vulture shot accidentally destroying the trap, but can be done with any number of players.

---Cheat---

Destroy the first barrier hive (motel). As you destroy the hive, hold onto a propane tank to keep it from disappearing (each player can hold one).

Pass the destroyed hive by about 20 feet. Turn and look at it. There will be a pink 'tentacle' of the hive on your left. Throw the propane tank in the road in the center of that area that is to the right of the tentacle. Keep them right, away from the tentacle as they will disappear if they are too far left/by the tentacle.

During the unlimited time that follows the Barrier hive, gather the propane tanks from town so that you have at least 10 in that area by the destroyed barrier hive. (If you get a propane challenge, just use the leftovers, or, if you gathered them all at the motel barrier hive already, simply grab one at a time and throw them on the current hive to get the propane tank challenge; the cryptids will walk into the fire and the challenge will still be easy to get while saving the majority of tanks).

Okay, if you placed them correctly, they will not vanish when the second barrier hive is destroyed.

---Use cheat for Rhino Bomb---

In the unlimited time after the second barrier hive, grab the tanks and move them to the street just past the army vehicle that is right there (has mounted turret on top of the vehicle).

Spread the tanks out about 10-15 feet in a rough circle (in the street, by the low wall, near the blue dumpsters/army vehicle).

Make sure there is an easily accessible flare in Town (City) that you can grab as you run back this way.

On your run back from the nuke, grab the flare, throw it in the center of this trap. This will protect you from the scorpions and more that will be there as well as getting them into the trap.

Wait for the rhino to walk into the trap, shoot the propane to kill them all.

Note that Tank's 15 teeth ability could be used to lure them into the trap as well.

The trap may not kill the rhino if he charges through it, but he will be nearly dead and the others will be, making this part of the run easy instead of the most dangerous.

Usually a good idea is to leave a trophy system here when you first come through also, just to keep scorpion juice off of you.
