Electronic Arts have confirmed that the farming AKA infinite resources/artifacts/items glitches for Dead Space 3 are not in fact "glitches" but part of the game... and will never be patched! To make it easier, we've listed all three below:


Chapter 8 Unlimited Resources Glitch

In chapter 8, near the end of the mission, you will come to a shack with a power generator and some bunk beds.

There will be a random object in the middle of the shack, grab it, then leave the shack. The door needs to shut for this to work.

Then go back inside the shack and you'll see the item has respawned once more.

Pick it up, go back outside, come back inside, rinse and repeat.

Win! You can use this to get as many resources as you want!


Infinite Alien Artifact Glitch

First you need to go to Edward's optional mission which is contained in chapter 5.

Then clear the second trap room (which gives you engine room access) and grab the alien artifact. It will be at the bottom of the stairs, by some boxes, on the right side of the door.

Save your game and quit. Then go back to the same room.

Once you are back in that room, run from there to the room that contains the sign "Storage Unit F-199". This will refresh and regenerate the alien artifact you already have.

You are then free to go back and get it again.

Chapter 14 Infinite Item Lockers

During Chapter 14, once you've visited Ellie to get a keycard, you'll save and then have access to two lockers.

Open both of them up and collect the items inside. Then save your game and quit.

Then reload the save game and the two lockers will be restocked with stuff. Take them again, save, quit, reload and repeat the process.

It is infinite!
