Tip: Ambush in Act 4 Cheat for Gears of War 2 on the Xbox 360

When you make your way up the stairway in the beginning, Baird will say, "I smell an ambush...".

You will walk into the center of the room and the window above you will open up full of grubs.

When the battle starts, simply run back down the stairs you came up and the battle is over.

Win the battle without firing a shot and skip ahead quickly to finding the alternate entrance to the palace.
