First of all this isn't a cheat, just a tip...
In Career Race wait until you have 200,000 (which only takes one race (The Daytona) if you get 1st place)), then restart your career.
After you do that buy the performance and durability development packs. Then make sure you place in the top 10 or top 5 of both Daytona races.
To make roughly around 1.0 - 1.3 million you have to place 1st place in both Daytonas. If you don't know how much of a profit that is, it's about 900,000 - 1.2 million.
