Cheat:
Get captured by the white robes, then you need to get a staff from the Smithy.
Do the training with the first 2 trainers. When you've done that you'll have to fight someone, once you fight him search his body, but it's important to stay on the search.
Once he gets up a staff should appear. It's simple from there - just tap the A button as many times you want because the staff will simply reappear again and again.
