Cheat:
In the town of Downstar, there is an invisible chest of infinite items. The level of the weapons and armor among the items go up according to your level.

The chest is located in Downstar, when you first fast travel to it you will end up next to a group of merchants (if it's the right time of day (12:30 or so)). Make sure they are there before you do anything.

Next walk into the village and take a right and walk all the way until you see a smelting machine with a few workers. Just further from that machine is a little alcove rock formation and on the ground under it will be an invisible box or chest between two rocks on the ground.

You will have to get up very closely and search around for it until you find the action button that says open chest. Inside it will be many many high value items, which you can pick and choose from.

To refresh the box you need to go back to the traders out at the enterance of the city and put your reticle on the merchant you would buy from and then wait for 24 hours, do this sequence twice, they won't dissappear either. Then the box should be refreshed with new items.

Note: any items from the chest that you sell to this trader will reappear in the chest again.
