Cheat:
If you have just got a job and want to have an easy time for the first few promotions you should save up karma and use "get lucky" just before you go to work.
You will either get promotions or extra money for every hour you work. You could also do this by picking lucky as one of your traits!
By the way this usually works, but if you have any new updates on your Xbox 360 it won't!
