Cheat:
The slow Ogre is best used for defense. The quick Stryder is good for Capture the Flag. Use it with the Dash Quickcharger/Core Accelerator to take full advantage of its speed. The Atlas can be adapted to any role.
Use the Quad Rockets in Last Titan Standing, for close-range attacks, and when playing as a Stryder. The Plasma Railgun can be effective if your teammates help you build up a powerful shot without being attacks. Use the Arc Cannon against groups of Titans, especially in Last Titan Standing. If you have an ally with a long-range weapon, use the Triple Threat to defend points, such as the objectives in Hardpoint Domination. You can use the 40mm Cannon in almost any situation.
Once you learn how to use it, the Vortex Shield is an excellent choice. If you plan to use fast hit-and-run attacks a Stryder, consider using the Electric Smoke to mask your retreat. Electric Smoke is also a good defense against rodeo kills. Use the Particle Wall to defend a narrow point or to protect yourself in Last Titan Standing. Multiple allies can cluster behind it.
Equip the Multi-Target Missile System and vary your shots—either firing in bursts or in one massive attack—according to the situation.
If you plan to play offensively, consider using Fast Autoloader. Use Dash Quickcharger for Capture the Flag. If your style relies on your Tactical Ability, on the other hand, equip Tactical Reactor. If you have trouble taking damage, Regen Booster might be what you need.
If you like to fight with melee attacks, equip Big Punch. Otherwise, consider Core Extender and Core Accelerator
