As the Kansas City Star reports, one gamer had just purchased his copy of MW3 from a GameStop when someone jumped out of a car and pointed a gun at him. However instead of handing over the $60 title, the gamer decided to wrestle the would-be robber for the gun, who then got back in his vehicle and fled the scene.

Given that the robber hadn’t gotten his copy of Modern Warfare 3 what do you think he did next? If you guessed going back to GameStop and lining up to purchase the game legitimately, you are correct! Only that the police were also on their way to arrest him there. According to the Star, the 18 year old robber has been remanded in jail in lieu of a $50,000 bond. And the gamer? He had this to say:

If I had more time to think about it, I probably would have just given him the game,” he said. “It’s a wonderful game, but it’s not worth dying over.
