Unless you’ve been living under a rock, you should now know that Battlefield 4 is officially coming to the Xbox 360, Playstation 3 and the PC this fall. You’ve probably also seen the 17 minute debut gameplay trailer that has been literally smashing YouTube records left, right and center.

Battlefield 4 is being developed by DICE (as usual) and will be based on the latest version of their FrostBite engine. The game will be set in present times (just like other Battlefield games). If you bought last year’s title, Medal of Honor: Warfighter, then you’ll also get an automatic invitation to the BF4 beta, which is scheduled to begin some time this fall.

One thing we don’t know yet is whether Battlefield 4 will make it to the next generation Playstation 4 and Xbox (whatever the later is eventually called). DICE have already said that Battlefield 4 will NOT be coming to the Wii U…
