Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim Update Submitted for Certification

Those of you waiting on a game patch for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim may not have to wait much longer. Bethesda’s Pete Hines, who has been forced to tell the game’s numerous fans to calm down and be patient as the developers work on a patch, has tweeted that Xbox 360 and PS3 versions of the patch have just been submitted for certification. Hines also said that the PC version of the patch is on its way too. In terms of timing however, you might have to wait a bit longer than expected, with Pete saying the patch should be expected to arrive in the week after Thanksgiving.

Pete’s comments were later confirmed by Nick Breckon who is a community manager on the official Elder Scrolls forums. While neither could provide any details on exactly what the contents on the patches will be (other than Pete saying the PS3 version will address the current long-term play performance issues), I’m guessing that further information will come out in the next few days. Until then, we wait…
