As is customary for every big game launch for a first-party Microsoft franchise, a new, snazzed-up limited edition Xbox 360 console is being released to accompany the launch of Halo 4. Sporting a sleek, futuristic blue, silver, and carbon metal aesthetic, the new console includes two similarly styled controllers (with blue LED lights), a copy of Halo 4, a 320GB hard drive, and a standard wired headset to talk trash to the noobs on the other team while you teabag their rag doll corpses.
The console also has custom Halo 4 sounds for certain actions, such as ejecting the disc and powering on/off. Not only do purchasers of this pretty sweet looking console get all of the aforementioned, but they also receive exclusive in-game Halo 4 content, including some avatar gear, an exclusive weapon skin and emblem, and a fresh armor skin to show off to your non-purchasing buddies and enemies.
The console was initially up for pre-order on the Microsoft store for a modest sum of $399.99, but has since been taken down.
