There is going to be plenty of downloadable content arriving for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 over the next few months – that much we know. What we also now know is that the first piece of DLC for MW3 will be made available on 24 January next year.

Infinity Ward’s Robert Bowling has revealed scant details of the new DLC via the Call of Duty Elite service, in effect only giving away the release date of the new content. Later, via Twitter, he then posted a picture taken from a new map that will feature in the DLC, called “Park”. We also know that the DLC will include new Spec Ops missions and also some things that “players have not seen before”.
