Another week has flown past and no prizes for guessing which game took out top ranking in the Xbox Live activity charts for the week of 7 November, as just released by Major Nelson. Call of Duty: Modern Warfare 3 has made its debut in the number one spot, easily taking out Battlefield 3 (which was down in third place) and Call of Duty: Black Ops, which came in at number two. I have a feeling we won’t be seeing too much movement in the top three most popular Xbox Live titles for quite some time now.
Modern Warfare 2, Gears of War 3 and FIFA 12 rounded out the top six games, with all titles in spots two through six on the chart being pushed down a place to make way for Modern Warfare 3. This also means three Call of Duty titles make up the top four. Whether you are a fan of the series or not, that is impressive! Another new entrant to the charts deserving mention is The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim, which came in seventh.
