Fans of The Transformers can rejoice with the next game in the series being announced at the recent Spike VideoGame Awards. Transformers: The Fall of Cybertron will be published by Activision and developed by High Moon Studios and is set to arrive at some stage next year on the Xbox 360, PS3, Wii and 3DS. The game will be set around the Decepticon’s assault on the homeworld of the Transformers, Cybertron.

Make sure you check out the trailer released at the VGAs above. In it you will see Optimus Prime carrying one of his seemingly fallen Autobots, as well gain some insight into the various features of the game, such as the new and different transformation possibilities.
