Our recent post concerning the release of patch 1.3 for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim on the PC only has generated a fair amount of debate, mostly regarding the fact that while the PC version of the game received its patch fairly promptly, owners of the game on Xbox 360 and Playstation 3 were forced to wait due to each console’s respective certification process. The timing of the 1.3 update is particularly important because it fixes a lot of the problems that Bethesda introduced with their 1.2 patch of Skyrim, and this has only served to add to gamers’ frustrations with the matter.

Well, there is some good news today with the announcement that the 1.3 update is now available over Xbox Live (see the announcement tweet above). North American PS3 owners, specifically, will have to wait a little longer though with the update below revealing that while patch 1.3 is going out over the Playstation Network in Europe, it’s not yet out elsewhere.

I am glad it is FINALLY OUT … but… why the long ass wait? they could have done it ALMOST the same time as the pc… i have an xbox but, it is just WRONG that PS3 useres (in america) have to wait god knows how long, for there saves lag to be fixed.
As far as i am aware my magic resistence is fixed… no dragons flying backwards and no lag… but i have yet to wait and see what bethesda broke in the process
